A consultant and researcher in the anthropology of organizations and consumption both in France and overseas, Dominique Desjeux has worked extensively on innovation processes, collective decision-making and the intercultural dimension of social change. A Pragmaty partner, he is also a professor of social and cultural anthropology at the Sorbonne University in Paris and was visiting professor at the Universities of Canton (China), Fu Jen (Taiwan) UFRJ (Brazil), Tampa (Florida, USA), Odense (Denmark), Brazzaville (Congo) and Ca’Foscari (Italy). He is thesis director for the Sorbonne’s vocational PhD program in social sciences.
He has contributed to many research projects for major public and private corporations, and facilitates intercultural seminars, particularly for Western managers implementing projects in China. He is the author of a number of publications on intercultural issues, daily life, consumption, innovation, “pre-digital” networks in organizations, geopolitics and the global crisis, social sciences and qualitative research methods. www.argonautes.fr
